You’ve heard the saying, “a picture is worth a thousand words” right? Well, Pinterest is setting out to make sure everybody knows it. And if there was a Top 100 Billboard for social sites, Pinterest would have a bullet next to it.
If there was a award for Best Social Site of the year, Pinterest would definitely garner a majority of the votes. It’s climbing the social ladder faster than any social site to come along in a while and it seems folks just can’t get enough of pinning.

- Mashable - 19,655 followers
- Nordstrom – the high-end retailer has won 12,384 and counting

I’m a very visual person anyway, so that alone makes Pinterest a winner for me – but I’ve also had good response so far from the community. Lots of repinning and even got a ‘like’ from the Pinterest staff for the ‘follow me on Pinterest’ button I created for the sidebar on my blog (which someone else pinned) and now they’ve made it available to everyone … okay, maybe that wasn’t so great, but I guess I should be flattered.
