I’m sure you’ve heard of the stock market, you buy and sell companies based on popularity, revenue and return on investment or ROI. Empire Avenue took that concept and applied to a very important dynamic.. YOU! Except instead of investing real money, you use virtual currency called eaves.
Started in 2009, Empire Avenue has established itself as a social media powerhouse. The concept is simple – expand your network of followers, engage and communicate with them, evaluate and measure your success within the network.
While it’s a fun game to play, there is some strategy behind the technology and it’s platform. Social media is and should be an important part of any social media strategy. Getting involved in this social media platform can fit nicely into any strategy.
Once the learning curve is over (took me about 3 days) the most important aspect of the platform are the Empire Avenue missions. Creating missions allows you to involve others in your content and rewarding them with eaves once they complete the mission.
Missions can be anything from re-tweeting important events, worthy causes to products and/or services you wish to promote. The most popular missions are liking and/or sharing a Facebook page, Google Plus posts, pictures and video. The opportunities are endless and limited only by your imagination.
The strategy here is social signals and search engines emphasizing the power of peer to peer networking – it’s the new backlink. It all depends on how well your content ranks with the major social platforms – in other words, are you engaging others in your content and if so, how well are you doing it?
However, in order to create missions through Empire Avenue there is a price to pay…
Winning With Your Empire Avenue Stock Price
First, your stock price must be above $50 a share in order to create a mission. New sign ups start between the $10-$15 dollar range. Suffice it to say, you’ve got to earn to share. So here are some strategies for getting your share price up fast.
Once your share price is above $50 a share, Empire Avenue flips the switch giving you the green light to start creating missions. Word to the wise, be sure to have a healthy bank of eaves ready because the price to create missions is steep.
Every mission you create will cost eaves. For example – if I create a mission for investors to tweet a message to their list of Twitter followers and I peg it to 50 missions with a reward of 1,000 eaves, it will cost me $50,000 eaves plus a $50,000 reward fee for a total of $100,000 eaves. Empire Avenue has mission rewards paying as little as $500 eaves to as high as $50,000 eaves! See what I mean, it can get a lil’ pricey. Not to mention the addons – sending an email to your list of shareholders inviting them to the mission is extra.
The best strategy to creating missions is 1) plan your campaign and 2) have a way of tracking the results so that you know everyone that participated in the mission actually did the mission. Oh yea, there are losers on the network that will pilfer eaves without doing the mission. One way to counteract is to limit your missions to your shareholder list.
This has some weight. You find a shareholder taking eaves without doing the mission, SOLD! Never to invest again. Keeping in mind this type of mission strategy will only work if you are NOT planning on expanding your shareholder network. Common sense prevails here – rest assured, 99% of the folks that participate in missions complete them.
How Do I Know Who The Best Empire Avenue Investments Are?
Empire Avenue gives new investors a bank of $100,000 eaves to start investing in others. Your primary mission when joining is to invest and expand your network. Here are some tips on who you should start investing in. Keep in mind these are just guidelines – feel free to add your own personality..
- ROI > 1.0 (ROI is dividend per share divided by stock price)
- Dividend of at least 0.20e/share
- The player has bought shares in others
- The player has connected at least 1 social network to EAv..
Once you begin expanding your investor base, share price will begin to increase and you can start investing in some of the heavy hitters. I define a heavy hitter as one’s stock price is above $300 per share.
One strategy you can put into practice right away is reinvesting your mission eaves back into the creator of the mission. This expands your portfolio and get’s others to invest in you – keeping in mind the points on investing above.
It’s All About Giving to Receive on Empire Avenue..
I know you’ve heard the expression, giving to receive but that is how all things work here on planet Earth. The best strategy when using Empire Avenue is to share in other peoples content. If you don’t have the mindset of giving, you make it about you and this will lead to failure. Not only here but in many areas of your life.
And it’s no different when using social platforms like Empire Avenue, or any other for that matter…. Facebook, Google, Pinterest – you name it. The more you give the more you will receive. Don’t make having to receive something your goal or priority. Strike that thought from your memory banks. Focus on giving, receiving is the gift and ultimate reward.
